Appallingly poor pie.
Years not been kind to f w pizza, once a leading Vancouver proponent of the pizza by slice biz.
today's offering devoid of soul, a limp, undercooked doughy pasty salty pizzazz less snack, so disappointed was moved to put pen to paper so to speak.
There was a time..... one would DELIGHT in visiting this location at Cornwall St in VANCOUVER s Kitsilano...... admittedly not been at flying wedge pizza for several years....
Sometimes a change in ownership/ management's a good thing... but not here.....going thru the motions, and failed bigtime in our experience today. -

Worst pizza ever. Worst service ever. Firstly, the slice was not fully cooked so it was really doughy. When I tried to tell that to the people who work there, they got mad at me, saying I didn't know what I was talking about. Nice.

This place just doesn't care if you come back or not. Don't know how this business survives. Terrible customer service. Pizza is doughy and flavorless and almost cold. My last choice for pizza. Someone should put the final nail in their coffin by opening up another by the slice pizza joint on this block.

I love Flying Wedge pizza. Great quality toppings, inventive menu pizzas, a crust that's genuinely better quality and healthier than your average pizza base, and a good selection of sauces.
BUT.., the pricing is way too high for by-the-slice pizza.
I used to live next to this location and would always wait until their 9pm happy hour before grabbing a couple of slices (reaches for the violin). But when two slices of pizza could set you back $8/$9 it's tough to justify.
I love to support local, which Flying Wedge is (the Vancouver story is on the walls - nice touch), but ultimately, it's a slice is pizza.
